Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy & Procedures

The purpose of this London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Policy Practice Guidance and Procedures November 2025 to to better safeguard adults at risk of abuse throughout London; and in using this document better encourage the continuous development of best practice.  This document was revised in November 2025.

Appendix-Seven-Adult-Safeguarding-and-Homelessness– the purpose is to provide an overview of what is considered current good practice in relation to individuals who experience multiple exclusion homelessness.

 

Croydon Data Sharing Agreement

The Croydon Final Croydon Data Sharing Agreement Revised October 2024 For Publication pdf formalises information sharing arrangements between the Croydon Safeguarding Adults Board partners.  This was revised by the CSAB in October 2024 and signed off by partners.

 

Protocols on:  Falls, Medication Errors and Pressure Ulcers

These protocols have been reviewed and agreed as a system with representatives from health and social care across South West London.  They reflect current national guidance and legislation and promote a proactive and collaborative approach.   Thanks to partners across the South West and Croydon’s valuable input into the pressure ulcer work.

 

Multi Agency Allegations in the Workplace Procedures

Safeguarding Adult Boards are required to establish and agree a framework and process for how allegations against people working with adults with care and support needs (for example, those in positions of trust) should be notified and responded to.   This document sets out the framework and process agreed by the Croydon SAB for this purpose.
