Safeguarding Adult Review [SAR] Sub Group
The group is currently chaired by the Independent Chair, Annie Callanan and meets bi-monthly. Section 44 of the Care Act 2014 requires the CSAB to arrange a Safeguarding Adult Review when a case meets the statutory criteria. The SAR sub group provides a forum to review requests for consideration for a SAR.
The Sub Group will report on progress quarterly to the Croydon Safeguarding Adult Board.
The Safeguarding Adult Review Framework sets out how to request and conduct SARs in Croydon under Section 44 of the Care Act 2014.
